Technical Specifications for Program Ads
Ads due for Romeo and Juliet by end of August

Computer file guidelines
Files must be provided on CD or e-mailed directly to: suzan.lambillotte@saopera.com
Supported applications: Macintosh
Adobe Photoshop (up to CS5); Adobe Illustrator (up to CS5)
Adobe Acrobat (up to 6.0.2 Professional).

Adobe Press Quality PDF Files
File resolution must be 300 dpi and color mode must be CMYK. All fonts (PostScript only) must be embedded, ie. a press quality PDF. Please do not compress PDF files. They are already compressed and may be corrupted if further compressed.

Adobe Photoshop Version 5.0 or higher
Files must be at least actual size, at 300 dpi resolution, in CMYK mode and saved in TIF, JPG, or EPS format.

Adobe Illustrator Version 8.0 or higher
Files must be in CMYK mode and saved in EPS format. Please convert all type paths to outlines to ensure that the type maintains its integrity. All placed files must be included and should be formatted according to the Photoshop guidelines above.

Please be certain your file images are at least 300 DPI or the quality of your ad will be compromised
