By far, private contributions keep opera alive and healthy in this country; the most successful and ongoing opera producers in the US are well buoyed by the enthusiasm and generosity of individual patrons . . . both large and small.

It is no different in San Antonio, and we ask you to make a contribution to the activities of the opera company. Your name (if you wish) will be listed among those civic minded philanthropists who believe that the cultural fabric of San Antonio and south Texas are well served by having its own opera company; it has been demonstrated that all major cities of the western world (as well as many in the east) have resident, producing opera companies, and San Antonio deserves no less.
