Becoming a contributor of the San Antonio Opera is more than just making a financial contribution. It is a gesture that will help to ensure future generations the opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and emotion of opera in San Antonio. 

Your financial support will be used to fund 38-44 symphony musicians, dozens of technical personnel, six directors and designers, three staff positions and over 20 professional opera singers from across the country. It will be seen in the sets and costumes of each production, and heard in the music of the orchestra and singers.

As the San Antonio Opera enters its 12th season, the company has found a new home for its productions in the Lila Cockrell Theater. This venue change reflects the San Antonio Opera’s commitment to patron satisfaction, having had many complaints about the Municipal Auditorium. This season will bring San Antonio some of the country’s best young talents as well as many established performers from the Metropolitan Opera and other major companies. With your support, the San Antonio Opera will continue to grow, and will always have a home in San Antonio.
