TICKET FAQ's
Season subscribers can exchange their tickets for a different performance of the same opera, but must do so by close of business on the Wednesday of performance week. Single tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Mail or fax your current tickets to us. Tickets returned by fax should first be marked "VOID." Include a $7 exchange fee per ticket. We will exchange your tickets to seats as close to your original seats as possible. Time permitting, your new tickets will be mailed to you, otherwise they will be held at Will Call.
Consider becoming a contributor - San Antonio Opera offers seating preference to donors at the Impresario Level level and above, in addition to an array of other benefits. Click on Support or call the opera office for more information.
If an exchange to another date isn't possible, you may return your tickets to San Antonio Opera and receive a donation receipt for the face value of the ticket(s). Please return the tickets to us 72 hours prior to the performance.
If you misplace your tickets, please contact the San Antonio Opera Box Office (210-225-5972) as soon as possible and we will issue a ticket reprint or write a pass. Passes can be picked up at the performance at the Customer Service/Will Call Window only.
The Will Call windows are located at Lila Cockrell Theater and are staffed by San Antonio Opera personnel on performance days only, two hours prior to curtain time.
Groups of 10 or more can receive discounts of 10-20% off. Contact group sales coordinator at San Antonio Opera for details.
Students with a valid ID receive 20% off for any performance. Limit 2 per ID. Only during one hour RUSH before each performance. Student tickets are $10 in rear orch / rear mezz / back orch / front balc and rear balc.
The Lila Cockrell Theater features wheelchair access with designated wheelchair seating locations and ticket prices. Anyone needing assistance should speak to an usher.
